I travel locally and regionally to speak at recovery homes, juvenile halls, institutions, community groups and 12 step meetings about the very serious and misunderstood disease of Addiction. I believe this is the number one disease of our civilization. The number of victims is heatbreaking, there are so are many, especially the children. Recovery is VERY possible. There is life after active addiction.

Wednesday 06-25-2008 10:40am PT
I would like to thank the very dedicated and loyal listener... Karen Bloom for always keeping me in the loop on the latest pics of my "boyfriend" Steven...
I am a little disgusted with him right now... as it doesn't appear he is takng his relapse seriously...just might lose his ass to save his face... Addiction is a VERY SERIOUS disease! And Relapse after 20 some years is deadly! I am just concerned.. that's all.
But to see him gallavanting around with Erin (who still "parties" AND HARD if that's what you want to call it... ) and saying that his residential rehab was just a place he needed to be to "recharge and shut off his cell phone"... kinda makes me nuts... SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many people look up to him... but this is his journey... so I'll get off my soap box ... for now.
Karen sent these links .... for you to see what Steven's been up to this past week.
NUN SEES MIRACLE
June 25, 2008 --
WHO said nuns are out of touch? Yesterday afternoon, recently rehabbed Steven Tyler made a quick stop at a SoHo Starbucks and was confronted by an unlikely fan. A witness reports a nun went "crazy" upon realizing that the man next to her in line was the Aerosmith frontman. According to our spy, the nun started jumping up and down and yelling to Tyler "Have a good day" and, "I can't believe that you are in my Starbucks."
Click HERE to see pics of Steven and Erin's BARNEY'S Shopping spree... good gawsh! WHATEVVVVV!

Joe Bonamassa ... What's the Buzz?
Thursday 06-12-2008 9:41pm PT
Well for crying out loud...
Folks are asking ... Who's this AMAZING Joe Bonamassa we keep hearin' all about!!!???
Lemme tell you... this guy is UNBELIEVABLE!!!
He's coming to the BC Outdoor Theatre on Friday, June 27th... (thank you Pat at World Records :))
A prodigy, a God.. Ted Nugent has compared this guy to "Stevie Ray "F-ing" Vaughn, Jimmy Hendrix and Jeff Beck!!!!
Click his pic to go to his official site..
And just a little Fyi.... Joe Bonamassa is quickly becoming one of the hottest young blues rockers on the scene today. His savory style and hard driving sound has much to do with that. He has an amazing knack for mixing the old with the new, and paying homage to past blues and rock idols. He understands the roots of both genres, primarily because he was exposed to the music while very young. He was handed his first guitar at age four. When his first solo record was released, at age 21, it was life in the fast lane for Smokin' Joe Bonamassa. And it doesn't look like he'll be slowing down anytime soon.
Some of Joe's album titles are the song titles of others, such as 2000's A New Day Yesterday, 2003's Blues Deluxe, and 2004's Had To Cry Today. These titles, by Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull), Rod Stewart (Jeff Beck Group), and Steve Winwood (Blind Faith), respectively, are covered on the albums as well. It's no requirement by any means, as his compositions are worthy enough on their own. Joe just loves to flaunt the music of his idols and influences. He does it live, too, within his originals. It's not unusual to hear an introduction reminiscent of the cries in Jeff Beck's volume manipulated 'Cause We've Ended As Lovers', or even the signature riffs to the conclusion of Frampton's 'Do You Feel Like We Do'. These little bits and pieces add flavor, spice, and a flash of deja vu to his live shows, and never fail to put smiles upon faces as fans suddenly recall the compelling riff from the past. (WAY more on his website -- Click pic above!)
And we're blowin' out tons o' tickets... Be at Amigos on Wednesday nights or Text "Win" to win to the number 85573 :)
As always,
Love you!!!! and thanks for listening!!!! XOXOXOXO!
